An Apply Butler campaign

You define the job search.Apply Butler runs the campaign.

This is the actual workflow: what you prepare, what is automated, which statuses you see, and when a job application still requires your input.

In one sentence

A campaign connects one resume with a specific job target, then tracks the openings and applications processed within that scope. Missing information pauses the application that needs it, not necessarily the entire campaign.

Four steps,with a defined scope.

The necessary account details, selected resume, job-search description, and saved answers form the authorized working context.

01

Choose the resume to use.

Each campaign is tied to one document. Apply Butler uses it to understand your experience and skills, and it is the file that can be attached to applications in that campaign.

Accepted format: PDF only, up to 5 MB per file.
02

Describe your current job target.

In plain language, specify the role, industry, location, work arrangement, priorities, and exclusions. This description defines your current search; the resume alone does not replace it.

Use a separate campaign for a different job target.
03

The campaign enters the processing queue.

Creating the campaign records the resume and job-search brief. Apply Butler can then search relevant sources, review job postings, and add selected openings to your dashboard.

The app shows the campaign status and phase; processing may not begin immediately.
04

Each application follows its own workflow.

The job is compared with your history, then its application form is processed with the available information. If a required answer is missing, that application waits for your response while independent applications can continue.

An application is marked as submitted only after an explicit confirmation is observed.

Why is a job postingselected?

Matching one word in the title is not enough. The opening must fit the campaign and provide a real application path.

A

Role content

The responsibilities and required skills must be consistent with the resume and campaign brief.

B

Expected seniority

The requested experience and level of autonomy are compared with documented experience.

C

Work conditions

Location, remote or on-site requirements, employment type, and other constraints are evaluated against the campaign.

D

A usable application path

The posting must still be available and lead to an accessible application form or next step.

Each status reflectswhat actually happened.

A job found, a form being processed, and a submitted application are different events. The app shows them separately.

To process or in preparation

The job has entered your dashboard or its form is being processed. No submission is reported yet.

Answer required

One or more required fields need your response. The question appears on the application and, when reusable, in your profile information.

Submitted

An unambiguous confirmation was observed on the employer's site. Clicking the submit button alone is not enough.

Needs review

A technical or functional issue interrupted processing. The application remains distinct from a confirmed submission and may be retried in a controlled way.
